Intelligence
Benchmark your controls against your sector.
Intelligence turns anonymised, aggregated findings from across our assurance work into a benchmark, so your organisation can see how its control maturity, finding mix and remediation speed compare with its sector. It will also publish an annual flagship report, the State of Internal Audit and AI Governance in the Mid-Market. The benchmark and the report are building now, and they get stronger as our client base grows, so we are honest that this is early. We are inviting organisations to join the founding cohort and help shape it.
What benchmarking will show
Control maturity
How developed your controls are compared with peers in your sector, so you can see where you lead and where you lag.
Finding mix
The pattern of issues you raise compared with the sector, which points to where attention is worth spending.
Remediation speed
How quickly issues get fixed in your organisation against the benchmark, a simple measure of whether assurance is working.
The annual report
Once there is enough anonymised data to stand behind, we will publish the State of Internal Audit and AI Governance in the Mid-Market: a yearly read on where controls, findings and governance are heading across the sectors we serve. It is forthcoming, and we will not put numbers to it before the data supports them.
Confidentiality is the foundation. Everything that feeds the benchmark is aggregated and anonymised, on written terms, with no organisation identifiable.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is Intelligence?
It turns anonymised, aggregated findings from across Murikah assurance work into a benchmark. Instead of guessing whether your control maturity, finding mix and remediation speed are normal, you will be able to see how they compare with your sector. It also includes an annual report on the state of internal audit and AI governance in the mid-market.
When will the benchmarking and report be available?
Both are building now, and they grow more useful as the client base grows, because a benchmark is only as good as the data behind it. We are inviting organisations to join a founding cohort and help shape what gets measured. We will not quote figures until the data genuinely supports them.
How is my data anonymised?
Benchmarks use aggregated, anonymised data with safeguards designed for regulated organisations. No client is named or identifiable, and nothing that could single out an organisation is published. Participation is on clear, written terms, and you stay in control of what is shared.
How do I take part?
Join the founding cohort. Tell us about your organisation and we will explain how participation works, what you would contribute, and what you would get back as the benchmark and the annual report take shape.
